Problem-based learning (PBL) is a teaching method that appeared in the early 1960s and widely applied distinct areas nowadays. In presented manuscript, we describe PBL methodology use restricted to mathematics for problem solving among group of engineering students Portuguese university. pandemic context, it was huge challenge both teacher. Supported by available literature, experiment defined. As well known, teachers are not only knowledge transmitters but also designers initiatives. Thus, have large role methodologies, where collaboration, reflection concepts discussion essential. pedagogical challenge, were devoted integrating previous acquired one during project.
